Aquamonix (Tyco) I500 electromagnetic flowmeter

Connect a Wildeye to an Aquamonix I500 flow meter to transfer flow and meter data directly to the web.

To connect up to an I500, use an ACC-EXP-I500 expander module, which communicates with the I500 interface card via RS232

Wire the Expander flying leads to the Interface Card following below wiring guide

Notes: 

I500 modem interface card with low power RS232/RS485/RS422 port with Modbus.

Only required if the card not already installed inside the I500

Jumper needs to be present for RS232

Notes:

Requires Aquamonix modem interface card (with low power RS232/RS485/RS422 port with Modbus). Order as I500-M or separately the option card 625056

The I500 standard modem card should be configured to RS232 via a jumper located on the PCA. The jumper needs to be present for RS232 two wire connections (removed for RS485). The I500 transmitter itself will then need to be configured as either RS232 in the configuration menu.

Attach the the bare wires that exit the the ACC-EXP-I500 directly to the I500 Interface Card as follows:

The Wildeye is configured by default to log the following parameters for the Aquamonix I500. In addition, the Wildeye automatically extracts a range of parameters from the raw MODBUS register values for ease of use.
