The Level TROLL may be connected to a controller or logger for
communication via:
Analog (4-20 mA)
SDI-12
RS485 Modbus
RS232 Modbus (with a customer-supplied converter)
RuggedCable® stripped & tinned cables have a “female” Twist-Lock
connector on one end to mate with the Level TROLL body. The uphole
end terminates in bare wires for connection to a PLC or data logger.
Also available in a shorter length ending in a “male” Twist-Lock connector
to mate with RuggedCable systems.=
Electrical Connections
When using SDI12 - make sure the 2 MODBUS wires are connected to ground!!
Otherwise, a stray signal on the modbus interface will shutdownt the SDI12 comms, and activate the MODBUS comms
