Wildeye Addressing

Wildeye Addressing is an expander addressing system consisting of a unique 4-character address, eg "5J7R". No two expanders have the same address, therefore address conflicts are avoided. Wildeye Addressing makes expander setup straightforward, and eliminates the need to reprogram SDI12 addresses on each expander.

Adding an Expander via web interface

  1. Go to the Config screen image-20240603-223632.png for the site, and click the Add Expander button. Find the expander you want to add, and click Use. Eg ACC-EXP-2MA

Adding an Expander via iPhone/Android app

Adding a sensor to a site through the mobile app, is as simple as scanning a QR code.

When on the site's configuration page, simply select 'Add Sensor' and scan the QR code on the expander.

After it's been scanned, the sensor's address information will auto-populate, and from there the unit of measure, logging frequency and graph addition can be selected.

If the sensors does not have a QR code, it can still be added to the site by searching it by name.
