McCrometer ML255 - Wiring
Connecting to the McCrometer's ML255
Ensure the battery packs are inside the ML255
Plug in the battery pack connectors into B1 and B2 sockets on the main board
Wait one minute
Flip on the small switches that are located right below the B1 and B2 sockets as shown in the picture below
Before the ML255 can output any readings to the wildeye the time and date need to be setup
Instructions
Press the Enter button to open the Quick Start menu
Navigate to the Main Menu using the Up and Down arrow keys, press enter
Enter your level 2 access code(default is 000002) then press enter
Navigate to 9-Data logger with the Up and Down arrow keys, press enter
Press enter to edit the date and time
Using the Right and Left arrow key to navigate and the Up and Down arrow key to change the data, enter the date and time, press enter to accept the date and time
Long press the Enter key twice to return to the main menu
Connecting the ML255 to the wildeye
To connect to the ML255 you'll need a wildeye that contains a C in the name. The most popular wildeye for this application are the following, WILD-E-MCCD, WILD-E-LC and WILD-E-MAC-MAS. The wildeye will need to come with flying leads.
Below is a picture of the terminal codes
Connect the Ground cable to 17. This will either be black or blue(if using WILD-E-LC)
Connect the Counter cable to 15. This will either be white or red(if using a WILD-E-LC)
Setting the Pulse and Totaliser on the ML255
Navigate to the main menu screen as explained in the first section
To change the Totaliser to follow the directions below, afterward please move onto setting the pulse output which is discribed in the next picture
Lastly please relay the pulse output to the wildeye support team
