Background
Back in the days of 3G, our WASP2, COBRA2, & WILD-E data-loggers had 4-pin M12 input connectors, and the standard pin position for a Counter line was Pin 2. Now our 4G WILD-M data-loggers use 5-pin M12 connectors, the standard position for Counter is Pin-5.
