Installation

To install the ACC-EXP-MAG8000 to a Siemens MAG8000 meter, follow the following steps:

1. Remove the cover from the MAG8000 meter head and attach the ACC-APT-MAG8000D adaptor PCB to the 8-way connector. Use the supplied screw and washer to secure it to the meter chassis.

   

2. Feed the flying-lead cable from the ACC-EXP-MAG8000 through the meter cable gland

3. Connect 3x MODBUS wires (brown, white, black) to the ACC-APT-MAG8000D blue connector, as per the below table.

4. Connect 2x Pulse Counter wires (blue, grey) to the MAG8000 PCB as below

When looking at the front and back side of the MAG8000, the color of the cables should appear as shown in the below diagram:

5. Tighten cable gland

6. Reattach MAG8000 cover
