Wildeye Antenna Selection
Connect an antenna to your Wildeye using the standard female SMA connector located on the top of the Wildeye case. The correct antenna should be chosen for your country and mobile operator, as well as the desired antenna gain. For a full list of standard antenna options & accessories, jump further down this page to Standard Wildeye Antenna Options.
Antenna Selection Guidelines
Wildeyes are supplied by default with the correct stubby antenna for your country and mobile operator.
Stubby antennas will generally operate fine in urban environments with reasonable signal strength
For locations with poorer signal strength, request an antenna with larger gain.
Antenna height above ground-level makes a big difference - it can often be better than using a larger gain antenna. For improved height, choose an antenna with a longer lead to allow the antenna to be elevated.
