Install the Wildeye App
Firstly ensure that your phone has the Wildeye App Installed and login to the app.

Navigate to the Install Page on the App
Once logged in, go to the install page. The "Install" page can be found on the navigation menu at the bottom of the app.
Find the device you would like to install
The install page gives you a list of all devices that your login has access to. There are a few options to quickly find the device you want to install:
Scan the QR code on the side of the device by touching the QR code in the top left of the page
Type in a device ID or name in the search box at the top of the page
Sort the list of devices by recent button presses, or distance from your phone's location (if you have previously set the GPS location of a site using the app)

Once you have selected a device from the installation page, you will have access to various functions that assist with device installation and maintenance. Sensors tabList of configured sensors. If your device is not yet configured to communicate with a specific sensor, you can add one by clicking Add Sensor. Options tab

Verify Installation
The verify Installation page is a quick way to see the latest readings from any sensors attached to the device.
Press the button on the Wildeye device to initiate a sensor read and upload of data to the Wildeye portal and then navigate to the Verify installation page.
Shortly after the Wildeye device light turns green, the latest sensor readings will appear in the verify installation page. Ensure that all of your sensors have a green tick next to them.
If there is a warning at the top of the page, the portal does not yet have recent data after a button push so you have to wait until the warning disappears. |
Edit Site
Use this option to change the site name, set the device's location using your phone's GPS, and specify the installation date. Name: Use this option to enter a meaningful name for the site. By default, it is set to the device's Serial Number. Status: You should update the site status from "Not Installed" to "Installed" once the device is installed on-site. Changing the status will prompt you to enter the installation date, which defaults to the current date and time. It is crucial to update the status to ensure that offline alerts are functional. Additionally, setting the installation date correctly is important for graphs that display data only after the installation date (to hide test data). Project Reference: This optional field allows you to store additional information about the site for reference. You can view the project reference details on the website. Update Location: By enabling this option, the site will automatically obtain GPS coordinates from your phone, ensuring that the site appears on the map in the correct installation location.

Technical details
Technical details is an expert option that gives some extra details about the specific Wildeye device. It includes the Product code, Product Family and Description.
