Water Pressure Monitoring
Water Pressure Monitoring for Irrigation System Performance Management
The Wildeye Water Pressure Monitoring solution provides a cost effective and convenient way to monitor irrigation system performance.
On its own, the pressure monitoring allows irrigation managers to monitor irrigation time-of-use as well as check for low pressure.
In conjunction with a flow meter monitor at the pump, a water pressure monitoring solution can be located after each irrigation valve or set, allowing total irrigation volume to be calculated automatically for each set.
Connectivity is managed by the award-winning Wildeye 4G IoT telemetry device. Data is accessible through the Wildeye portal from where it can be viewed and exported. Scroll down to view complete specifications for the Water Pressure Monitoring solution.
Components:
Quality stainless pressure gauge with threaded G¼ A female (AU/NZ) or ¼” NPT (USA) for wetted connection to irrigation line
Solar panel with Wildeye mounting bracket
Outdoor 3dB Antenna, 5m extension for optional elevation
Installation
Installation requires 4G IoT signal is available at site, and the Wildeye phone app must be downloaded and used to capture data during the installation.
The pressure gauge can be installed on any irrigation dripline or pipe with threaded port with the use of appropriate size T-junction and off-the-shelf adapters if needed.
