Model Numbering System
The Wildeye datalogger comes in many variants, defined by its product code. Our latest products are all 4G variants and generally you will order product starting with WILD-M (Wildeye with 4G CatM/NBIoT)
The main options you need to select are the POWER (Defines Battery or Rechargeable ) and CABLE options. The CABLE option defines the meters and sensors you can connect to your Wildeye with the external cables and connector plugs.
The model numbering system diagram below lists the most common cable variants, or alternatively for a list of the most common Wildeye 4G product variants, jump to Standard Wildeye Models.

Rechargeable Internal Battery
The Rechargeable option is intended to allow the Wildeye to be powered from a solar panel or other external power source such as a DC Power supply or external battery pack, and act as a backup supply in case of power outage. This option is denoted by an "R" in the product code.
More details about the types of available power options can be found on external power supply options article.

The Battery version has an internal long life Lithium Primary battery pack. This option can be used in applications where it is not practical to have an external power source. This option is denoted by a "B" in the product code.
CABLE segments
A Wildeye has 1 or 2 physical cables containing one or more channels for attaching meters/sensors. The type of the cable and the channels contained inside it are defined by the Cable Codes.
Standard Cable Code Options for your Wildeye are:

MCCD = 2x counter channel (C), 1x tamper/digital channel (D)
